MARY launched in 2018, a brand which juxtaposes the fanciful and flirty with the sexy and sophisticated. MARY is the dream child of it's founder Mary Benson, each dress and print is the epitome of Mary's personality. Mary has a love of beautiful dresses and colourful prints, after years of experimenting with print making and delving deep into creating very special designer prints, MARY was born. Since then, the brand continues to grow more and more into a lifestyle collection including ready-to-wear, handbags, accessories and homeware, and has a celebrity following including Paloma Faith, Rita Ora, Kate Nash and Ellie Goulding.

Mary and Gemma’s combined passion for bold colour and sustainability in fashion have been the perfect pairing for their limited edition beret collaboration. The two friends have sourced 500 vintage berets from Blue Rinse Vintage and have up-cyled them in London, making each of them one of a kind. Mary has hand drawn Gemma’s strong empowering statements and applied them individually to each beret in her iconic glitter vinyl.

Mary and Gemma are donating 5% of profits to Young Minds Charity, who fight for young people’s mental health, and support and empower children no matter of their situation. Available in a huge selection of colours, get your hands on one just in time for Autumn, before they are gone!

You Are Beautiful

“It may seem like just a pretty quote but it's actually a powerful affirmation, and I think it's very important for us to believe we are truly beautiful in all kinds of ways. It can really reduce feelings of anxiety and paranoia if we get it into our heads that we have a lot of beauty in us, not just physical beauty but the way we are and the things we do, and acknowledge that other people can see it too”

- Mary

‘‘I’ve worked unofficially with Mary for years, telling her my clothes dreams and she would make them come true again and again.. ‘How can I make a skirt, full of golden sunflowers for the BRIT awards?’, ‘How can I be a human disco ball at Glastonbury?’. All this frivolous activity she turned into psychedelic garments of joy. This time round it was a little deeper.. ‘How can we make people smile, by wearing statements across our heads?’. That combined with our mutual love for berets became a more and more exciting adventure. I love this collaboration and hope that people enjoy choosing their colour and statement and keep them this winter as precious treasure.’’
