Limited Edition: The Morwenna Dress - 3 Weeks Made-To-Order

I was feeling in a slump after the cold and dark winter months, having decided to not persue my dressmaking career as fully as I once did, and having not designed any dresses for a while, I needed some inspiration. My inspiration often comes from fabric and I when saw this incredible floral rose garden cotton and could instantly envisage the Morwenna dress. I designed this new style during Imbolc, when the snowdrops started peeping through the earth. I was feeling so deeply drawn to Spring and brighter days, dreaming of days out, holidays and coming out of the long wintering period. I wanted a dress full of volume and I wanted a new sleeve which wasn't like my others, something new. The Morwenna dress is so versitile, it's more than just a pretty dress. It has deep side seam pockets, it's great for layering (i'm wearing thermals under mine in the photo's as the photo's were taken in February). It's perfect to dress up for a wedding, dress down and made casual enough for a Sunday lunch, pretty for a picnic with friends, a date or a weekend walk with boots. The skirt length 90cm so you can see your shoes or boots, a perfect 'ballerina length'. I am neruodiverse and I can't wear certain types of clothing or synthetic fabrics, I'm always conscious of this when I'm designing so the fit is just right and doesn't irritate me in ways many other dresses do. The cotton is breathable and light, and it's easy to wash. The Morwenna style features my iconic square neckline, a concealed centre back zip and gathered sleeves.

Your orders will be cut within 1 week of your order being placed and will join the sewing queue. Depending on how many orders we have during that time, you dress could take up to 3 weeks. Sometimes we cut and sew orders within 1 week. So please let me know if you are in a rush, so I can check if it's possible to make your dress straight away.
